Rules
- The malware will begin on October 1, 2008. The challenge begins at this time.
- All submissions must be in prior to October 26, 2008 at 23:59 EST.
- All submissions should be emailed to 2008challenge@malwarechallenge.info
- Submission documents should be in PDF format.
- If you submission contains multiple files, they should be zipped together. The zip file should be password protected with a password of "infected".
- You may submit your entry multiple times. However, only the submission with the last time stamp will be examined by the judges.
- Participants may work in teams. However, if a team wins a prize they will have to decide amongst themselves who gets the prize.
- You may use any tools or techniques you wish. However, judges must be able to duplicate or verify your results.
- All submissions must be in English.
- Judges are not eligible for prizes.
- Anyone is allowed to participate. However, due to shipping costs associated with prizes, those not in North America may not be eligible to receive prizes.
